The IT Deskside Technician is a key member of our managed service provider team based in Charlotte, NC. This individual is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support to end-users, ensuring the smooth operation of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals within a corporate environment.

This is a full-time, onsite position located in Charlotte, NC. The role will require travel to client sites each week within the region and with an expectation of 50% of work performed remotely.

Specific Skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive to customer sites as required.
  • 3+ years of deskside or IT support experience in a managed services or enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and common hardware troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 40 lbs) as needed.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications preferred.
Responsible For
  • Provide onsite and remote deskside support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Responsibility for meeting SLAs, response/resolution targets, and contributing to continuous service improvement.
  • Expectation to maintain technical documentation, asset records, and SOPs.
  • Able to support flexible working hours both time of day and days of week.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents involving Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, printers, and standard business applications.
  • Respond promptly to service tickets, document actions taken, and maintain clear communication with users and management.
  • Set up, configure, and deploy new workstations and devices following company standards.
  • Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, including account setup and access management.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and escalate complex issues as required.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for data protection and privacy.
  • Work support request tickets using standard ITIL v4 methodology
